We are looking for a motivated systems analyst to work on various web applications for an IT company in Silver Spring, MD who serves various types of clients.
- Oversee maintenance and problem resolution for production systems
- Provide support on a 24 X 7 basis
- Develop/lead development of system and program documentation
- Develop/lead development of new applications/program designs and application enhancements
- Prepare/oversee preparation of program specs, system flows, test plans
- Develop/assist in development of project plans
If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:
- B.S. Degree or equivalent related work experience
- 7 to 10 years of application analysis, design and development in client/server and/or web environment
- 1 to 3 years project management or team leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of service oriented development methodology
- Expert knowledge of application deployment methods for integrated systems and environments
- Expert knowledge of three or more of the following development tools: Powerbuilder, Visual Basic .net, Java, JSP
- Ability to design/lead design and development of client server and/or web applications
- Expert knowledge of structured SDLC
- Expert knowledge of Oracle or comparable database
